Domain and Hosting Service Renewal
If you fail to pay for the renewal of domain registration before expiry, your domain registration shall be canceled and also listed to be deleted which usually takes about 60 to 120 days. Renewal Invoices are usually generated and sent to client 15 days or 30 days before expiry which serves as a prior notice to the client who owns the domain name.
If a domain name is cancelled and listed for deletion, any website or email services associated with it will stop working even if you pay for renewal after expiry. Retrieving your domain from deletion during this period will cost you $90.00 and Service Charge of $20 which amount to $110 in total.
If you fail to pay for renewal of hosting accounts such as shared hosting, VPS hosting and Dedicated Server Hosting before expiry, you will be given the grace of 15 days after expiry to make payment meanwhile your hosting account will be suspended immediately on expiry. Failure to pay within the grace period of 15 days will result to termination of your hosting account. Please note that terminated account cannot be restored.
Our Piece of Advice:
Kindly make sure you pay for renewal of domain and hosting services before expiry to avoid domain being deleted or hosting account being terminated.
