We’ve compiled some top tips for you to help make the most of the holiday season:
  • Increase your ad visibility: Make your ads more visible to your users by placing them above the fold and near your content, where users are already engaging with your site.
  • The bigger the ad the better the ad: From our experience, we know that wider ad formats perform better. Try using our top-performing ad sizes such as the medium rectangle (300×250), large rectangle (336×280), leaderboard (728×90), and wide skyscraper (160×600).
  • Enable your ad units to show text and image ads: Take advantage of all relevant and available ad inventory that is competing to appear on your site. Many advertiser campaigns are made up of image ads, so we highly recommend activating this feature to take full advantage this.
  • Place more than one ad per page: Multiple ad units can help optimize your AdSense performance by leveraging our large inventory of ads. You can place up to three ad units per page (in addition to three link units).
